How to Log in / Sign in to ATU Donegal Library off campus

If you are a registered ATU Donegal student, researcher or staff member, it is possible to access all ATU Donegal library online information resources from off campus.

Simply follow the links from the Library website and login as directed. Library resources available off campus include electronic journals, eBooks, theses and past  exam papers.

You must have a valid ATU Donegal computer account to access the library’s resources from off campus.

When you select an online resource you will be prompted to login:

• Students sign in with your ATU Donegal credentials (L0000XXX@atu.ie); your password is your computer network password (the password you use to log onto a PC on campus).
• Staff sign in with your ATU Donegal credentials (firstname.lastname@atu.ie); your password is your computer network password (the password you use to log onto a PC on campus).
• Research and Postgraduate Students sign in with your ATU Donegal credentials (L0000XXX@atu.ie); your password is your computer network password (the password you use to log onto a PC on campus).
• Exam Papers and EThesis Student Sign-in: (L0000XXX@atu.ie) and your password. Staff Sign-in: (firstname.lastname@atu.ie) Contact ithelpdesk.donegal@atu.ie or phone 074 9186050 for help.
• External Members do not have off-campus access.

Access articles through Google Scholar off campus.

• You will need to set up ATU Donegal as your ~University library in the settings in Google Scholar ; go to settings and then Library Links, add “Atlantic Technological University (Donegal) – Full Text @ ATU Donegal”
• Once you have set up Atlantic Technological University (Donegal) as your Library, when you do a search you will see “ EDS Full Text @ Your Library ” beside content Atlantic Technological University (Donegal) libraries subscribes to.
• Once you select this link, you will be prompted to login.
• Login with your valid ATU Donegal credentials (L0000XXX@atu.ie) your password.
