Click & Collectenables Library users to select item(s)for borrowing in advance of visiting the Library (currently no browsing shelves). Library staff will retrieve their requested items and issue them to the Library user’s account. Library users will then be contacted by email to inform them that they can collect items from the ‘Click & Collect’ point in the Library without any interactions with staff or equipment.
All books returns are quarantined for 72 hours by LYIT library, they will not be removed from your library users account until the 72 hours has expired.
Scan and Delivery
This service is to make accessible items in the library that are both Reference Only and 1 hour loan. Strict copyright guidelines will apply, so up to 10% of a book or journal can be printed or scanned.
Webchat is currently activated on the library website. The purpose of this online service is to help mitigate physical interaction and the requirement for face to face contact. While the webchat will be live 24/7, unanswered queries from there will be directed to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
This service is available through the college email service email@example.com
