eBooks

Read or download library books online.

The library eBook collection can be accessed from most devices that have an Internet connection, so you don’t need to be in the library to read them.

There are many benefits to using eBooks including instant online access, the ability to search an entire eBook for specific keywords and the ability to download titles, chapters or individual pages to your personal device. NB Restrictions may apply when downloading/printing selected pages depending on the supplier.

Where can I find an eBook?

The library subscribes to the following two eBook database collections which are included in our “Databases A-Z list”:

The eBooks on these databases eBooks can be found using the Library Catalogue and on Search + Find. To access them, search by title, author or keyword and then refine your results to “eBooks” using the filter options on the left-hand side of the screen.

The library also subscribes to Bloomsbury Professional Ireland. This resource contains high quality eBooks and information services, in the areas of Law and Legal Studies. You need to go directly into this database to search across titles and read the eBooks.

Access to the eBooks ATU Collection (ProQuest) and Bloomsbury Professional are available on the links below.
